Baja-ish Fish Tacos

What happens when you take a fish tacos, a Tacombi favorite, and add hummus? These deliciously crispy, crave-able baja (ish) tacos. You can fry, grill, or blacken the fish for this recipe. We recommend a white fish like cod or halibut, but anything will work!

Ingredients for the tacos:


3 Vista Hermosa Corn Tortillas
2 tbsp Little Sesame x Vista Hermosa Mexican Street Corn Hummus
3 pieces of your fish of choice (3-4 oz each)
1 tomato, diced
½ red onion, diced
1 jalapeño, thinly diced
¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
Squeeze of lime
Pinch of salt
Oil for frying (can deep fry, pan fry, or air fry)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the tomato, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. 
  2. Fry your fish using a deep fryer, air fryer, or by pan frying until cooked through.
  3. Heat your tortillas in a pan or over an open flame.
  4. Plate your dish with a tortilla, a spread of hummus, a piece of fish, and salsa mix. Serve immediately.
