We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about content creation, community building, and social platforms. The Social Media Manager will lead our Instagram and TikTok efforts, crafting content that captures the essence of Little Sesame, working closely with our Marketing Manager to brief content that needs to be outsourced, and owning the execution of all social media activities—from posting and writing captions to monitoring comments, DMs, and overall engagement metrics. The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's identity, expanding our reach, and creating lasting relationships with customers, influencers, organizations and other stakeholders.
Content Creation & Curation
Develop and execute a content strategy for Instagram and TikTok that aligns with Little Sesame’s brand ethos.
Create original content where needed, including photos, videos, and graphics that highlight our products, events, and community.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to brief external creators, designers and agencies on any outsourced content needs.
Lead the creative vision for our social accounts, consistently developing innovative and unique content ideas that distinguish us from other CPG brands.
Maintain a balance between humor, education, and product forward concepts that engage and excite.
Community Management
Own the day-to-day execution of posting across Instagram and TikTok.
Write engaging, on-brand captions that resonate with our audience and define our brand voice on social media platforms.
Monitor comments, direct messages, and overall engagement, ensuring a positive and active community presence.
Respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
Influencer & Brand Partnerships
Engage with relevant brands, influencers, and creators to ensure our presence in conversations involving hummus.
Identify potential partners for cross-company collaborations and strategize with the Marketing Manager on impactful campaigns aimed at driving retail traffic.
Maintain and manage the influencer and brand CRM
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to inform strategy and improve engagement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, incorporating them into our strategy.
Ensure that social amplifies broader marketing efforts and ladders up to corporate goals and objectives; driving traffic to retail metric is a priority
